The Contour Lounge Chair is a parametric chair with a smooth cantilevered silhouette: backrest, seat and base flow into one another in a single continuous wave. The layered structure of precision-cut contours keeps the form sculptural from every angle.
The chair is conceived both as a place to rest and as an object that sets the tone of a space. The contour rhythm underlines the motion of the line, while the exposed layer edges add depth and a graphic quality.
The ergonomic profile supports a natural sitting posture, and the cantilever geometry adds a gentle flex. Each contour is cut from plywood on CNC equipment and hand-assembled into a rigid structure built for everyday use.
The chair belongs in living rooms, lounge areas, studios, hotels and showrooms: it works just as well solo as paired with a coffee table from the same collection. Dimensions and finish are configured for the interior.
