Description
The Layered Wave Chair is a chair with sculptural sides: fanned contour layers form a smooth transition from backrest to seat and base. The open layered sections at the sides give the form depth, rhythm and an architectural character.
Despite its expressive volume the chair looks light: air remains between the layers, and the silhouette reads as a series of lines rather than a solid mass. Light passes through the sections and draws a signature pattern of shadows on the floor and walls.
Each contour is precision-cut from plywood and assembled into a single rigid structure with a neat oil or painted finish. The ergonomic seat holds at any configured size.
The chair suits modern apartments, lounge areas, studios, galleries and collectible design furniture line-ups. Form, size and finish are configured per project in the online configurator.
